forearm splints â€‹

Forearm splints is another name for a strain or sprain in the forearm. It is commonly seen in the interosseous membrane which is between the radius and ulna and acts as a connection point for muscles in the forearm .

A sprain is a stretching or tearing of the ligaments (the tissue connecting two bones together); whereas a strain is an injury to a muscle or tendon (connects a muscle to a bone).

'Look out' EVE

LOOK OUT...

Symptoms like redness and bruising may appear different on different coloured skin.

Bruising can sometimes be an indication that something more sinister is going on internally; if in doubt, get it checked out!

A visual deformity in these examples is different to swelling.

"Don't be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I hold you up with my victorious right hand."
